About this item

A crystal tear formed slowly over the ages where the Erdtree's bounty falls to the ground.

Can be mixed in the Flask of Wondrous Physick.

The resulting concoction restores half of one's maximum FP.

Starting Site of Grace: Converted Tower

1. Reach the Converted Tower on the southwestern side of Liurnia. Stay on the raised western bank rather than dropping into the lake.
2. Follow the ground north toward the Minor Erdtree and fight the Erdtree Avatar at its base.
3. Defeat it to receive one Cerulean Crystal Tear and one Ruptured Crystal Tear. Both are automatic boss rewards.

Mountaintops of the Giants

Starting Site of Grace: Snow Valley Ruins Overlook

Before you go

• Defeat Morgott and obtain access to the Mountaintops of the Giants.

1. After defeating Morgott in Leyndell, obtain the Rold Medallion from Melina and take the Grand Lift of Rold beyond the Forbidden Lands.
2. Follow the Mountaintops route to Freezing Lake, then climb onto the high ground north of the lake and head west through the graveyard toward Snow Valley Ruins Overlook.
3. Turn southwest toward the Minor Erdtree and cross the narrow bridge to the tree's plateau. Keep away from the bridge edges while enemies are nearby.
4. Defeat the Erdtree Avatar beside the trunk. You receive Crimson Bubbletear and the second Cerulean Crystal Tear together.

Notes

• Each tear restores half your maximum FP immediately when you drink the mixed flask.
• There are two pickups with this name. Putting both into the flask restores a full FP bar.
• The reward from southwestern Liurnia is available much earlier than the one in the Mountaintops. You do not need both to start using the effect.
• Rest at a Site of Grace and choose Mix Wondrous Physick to use this tear. Drinking the flask uses its charge; resting refills it without consuming the tear.
• The recovery is based on maximum FP, not on the amount missing. Drinking at three-quarters of a full bar wastes part of the recovery; it does not add half a bar beyond your normal maximum.
