It is said that when the Age of the Erdtree began, such blessings were personally bestowed upon their recipients by Queen Marika herself.

Exposed root in the isolated ash courtyard

Leyndell, Capital of Ash

Starting Site of Grace: Forbidden Lands

Before you go

• Defeat Maliketh.

1. Defeat Maliketh so that Leyndell becomes the Capital of Ash.
2. Travel to Forbidden Lands and backtrack west into the capital entrance lift. Ride it up, cross the connecting route and use the large wooden lift back down toward the outskirts courtyard.
3. This approach reaches the isolated ash-filled area that you cannot simply walk into from the main Capital of Ash grace.
4. Three Ulcerated Tree Spirits occupy the courtyard. Stay along the edge and move south rather than running between all three.
5. Look for the root sticking up from the ash near the far side. Loot the corpse on it for the talisman.
6. Killing the Tree Spirits is optional. Take the pickup and retreat if you only came for the talisman.

Notes

• Raises maximum HP by 4%, maximum stamina by 10% and maximum equip load by 8%. This is the strongest Erdtree's Favor variant.
• Cannot be worn with either earlier version. You do not need to collect or upgrade those items before picking up the +2.
• Can be combined with compatible Amber Medallions and an Arsenal talisman. Its own 1.5 weight still counts toward equip load.
• The stamina increase is extra capacity, rather than faster recovery. The HP bonus does not directly strengthen fixed flask healing, although recovery based on maximum HP can grow.
• It is one of the legendary talismans counted for the related achievement.
• The ash courtyard is reached by backtracking from Forbidden Lands after Maliketh. The three Ulcerated Tree Spirits do not have to be killed for the corpse on the root.
