Effects
Raises fire damage by 12% against enemies, but makes you take 10% more physical damage. Against other players, the fire bonus is 8% and the physical penalty is 15%.
Only the fire portion of a split-damage attack gains the bonus. The physical, magic, lightning or holy portion of the same attack does not receive that fire increase.
Eligible fire damage from weapons, skills, spells and damaging fire consumables can benefit. This is an attack bonus rather than added status buildup.

Where to find
Fort Laiedd exterior wooden balcony
Mt. Gelmir
Starting Site of Grace: Seethewater Terminus
- Follow the Seethewater valley north through Mt. Gelmir to Seethewater Terminus. Fort Laiedd stands just beyond the soldiers' camp.
- Enter the fort and pass the Fire Prelate in its courtyard. You can run past rather than defeating it for this pickup.
- Take the stairs to the upper battlements and move to the western side of the roof.
- Listen for the spirit speaking on the far side of the low wall. Look over the wall to find the wooden balcony just outside it.
- Jump over the low wall onto that platform and loot the charm beside the spirit. Do not jump beyond the platform into the valley.

- The defensive penalty applies to physical damage, not just to attacks made by fire-wielding enemies. Wearing it does not improve your own fire protection.
- Can be combined with Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear and other compatible fire bonuses. Flamedrake Talisman serves a separate defensive purpose.
- The Fire Prelate in Fort Laiedd is not required. The charm is on the wooden platform outside the upper wall, beside the speaking spirit.
