In-game description

Talisman depicting a trio of red ancient dragons.

Vastly boosts fire damage negation.

The ancient dragons, who ruled in the prehistoric era before the Erdtree, would protect their lord as a wall of living rock.

And so it is that the shape of the dragon has become symbolic of all manner of protections.

Where to find

Dragonbarrow Cave dual Beastman boss

Dragonbarrow

Starting Site of Grace: Dragonbarrow Cave

  1. Locate Dragonbarrow Cave in the cliff east of Dragonbarrow Fork and activate the grace.
  2. Move through the first cavern without getting trapped by the patrolling Runebear. The small rear alcove contains Bull-Goat's Talisman, not this item.
  3. Return to the entrance side of the first chamber and take the northwestern opening. Drop from ledge to ledge into the lower passages, then follow the southern tunnel into the wolf chamber. Clear the large white wolf and the smaller wolves before continuing east.
  4. Drop into the final boss arena only when you are ready to fight two Beastmen of Farum Azula.
  5. Defeat both enemies to receive the talisman. Their ranged attacks can reach you while you fight the melee opponent, so use the arena to keep them from surrounding you.

Notes

  • Reduces incoming fire damage by 20% from enemies and 6% from other players.
  • The effect covers the fire part of an attack. It does not reduce a Beastman's physical weapon damage simply because the enemy also uses fire attacks.
  • Cannot be equipped with another Flamedrake variant. Earlier versions are not needed for this boss reward.
  • Compatible protection, including Pearldrake Talisman, combines multiplicatively. The talisman does not grant complete fire immunity or increase your own fire damage.
  • You must defeat both Beastmen in Dragonbarrow Cave. The Runebear near the entrance is optional, and Bull-Goat's Talisman is a separate pickup before the lower boss route.
