Before you go

• Ingredients per batch: 1 Ruin Fragment and 1 Dewkissed Herba
• 500 runes

1. Follow the road north from the First Step to Church of Elleh.
2. Talk to Kale and open his shop.
3. Buy the second Nomadic Warrior book for 500 runes.
4. Buy the Crafting Kit from Kalé at Church of Elleh for 300 runes if Item Crafting is still unavailable.
5. Collect 1 Ruin Fragment and 1 Dewkissed Herba. Outside combat, open Item Crafting and choose Glowstone. One craft makes one.

Notes

• Places a temporary light on the ground. It stays where it lands rather than following your character through the tunnel.
• It shines brighter than a Rainbow Stone, but does not provide that stone's range of colors.
• Using one consumes it and costs no FP. Each craft makes one from a Ruin Fragment and a Dewkissed Herba, after learning Nomadic Warrior's Cookbook [2].
• Use a Lantern or torch for a light you carry with you. A Glowstone is useful when you want to light or mark a particular section of a dark room.
• The light is not a checkpoint or protective area. It provides no healing, flask refill or fast travel.
