A legendary talisman depicting the Elden Lord Godfrey.

Raises charge attack power of sorceries, incantations, and skills.

Godfrey was a ferocious warrior. When he vowed to become a lord, he took the Beast Regent Serosh upon his back to suppress the ceaseless lust for battle that raged within.

Starting Site of Grace: Altus Highway Junction

Before you go

  • One Stonesword Key.
  1. Reach Altus Plateau by the Grand Lift of Dectus or the Ruin-Strewn Precipice. Head toward the lower cliffs southwest of Altus Highway Junction.
  2. Find the circular evergaol on the lower ground, southeast of the Grand Lift of Dectus exit area.
  3. Use one Stonesword Key at its imp statue, then stand in the center and enter the evergaol.
  4. Defeat Godefroy the Grafted to receive Godfrey Icon. This is a separate boss from Godrick in Stormveil.

Notes

  • Increases damage from eligible charged sorceries, incantations and weapon skills by 15%. Holding the input must produce a qualifying charged attack; simply keeping a button held is not enough.
  • The charged Ancient Lightning Spear from Bolt of Gransax is one qualifying example. Its uncharged projectile does not receive this charged-attack bonus.
  • Ordinary charged heavy attacks use Axe Talisman instead. Channeling a spell such as Comet Azur is also different from charging an eligible cast.
  • Can stack with Shard of Alexander on a charged weapon skill that qualifies for both. Two 15% bonuses give 32.25% more damage to that eligible attack.
  • It improves qualifying attack damage rather than increasing your Intelligence, Faith, spell slots or casting speed.
  • It is one of the legendary talismans. The boss who drops it is Godefroy the Grafted in Golden Lineage Evergaol, rather than Godrick in Stormveil Castle.
  • Charged Lightspeed Slash and Dragonwound Slash qualify. Holding Moon-and-Fire Stance, charging a roar-altered ordinary heavy or continuing a channeled beam does not become an eligible charged skill.
  • It does not shorten a charge or improve casting speed. Choose an opening long enough to finish the charged action instead of expecting the talisman to make it faster.
