Effects

Reduces incoming Holy damage by 13% against enemies or 4% against other players. The smaller player-versus-player value applies against player attacks, rather than using the enemy reduction everywhere.

Only the Holy part of a mixed hit receives this reduction. It does not make every attack from an enemy using that element deal less damage.

Cannot be equipped with another Haligdrake variant or Golden Braid. Earlier versions are not required to collect or use a stronger one.

In-game description

Talisman depicting a golden ancient dragon.

Boosts holy damage negation.

The ancient dragons, who ruled in the prehistoric era before the Erdtree, would protect their lord as a wall of living rock.

And so it is that the shape of the dragon has become symbolic of all manner of protections.

Where to find

Beach cave overlooking the Stranded Graveyard

Limgrave

Starting Site of Grace: Seaside Ruins

  1. From The First Step, head southeast across southern Limgrave to Seaside Ruins on the cliff above the beach.
  2. Follow the cliff southeast and look down for the broken pillars, descending ledges and the spiritspring at the beach. Use Torrent to descend at the spiritspring, rather than jumping from an unrelated cliff edge.
  3. On the beach, head northwest toward the soldier's campfire. Look for the small cave entrance in the cliff beside the ruins.
  4. Follow the short cave to the high ledge overlooking the Stranded Graveyard. Loot the corpse for Haligdrake Talisman.
  5. The tall hostile figure patrolling the beach is not a required boss for this pickup. You also cannot reach the ledge simply by jumping up from the tutorial room.

Notes

  • Reduces incoming Holy damage by 13% against enemies or 4% against other players. The smaller player-versus-player value applies against player attacks, rather than using the enemy reduction everywhere.
  • Only the Holy part of a mixed hit receives this reduction. It does not make every attack from an enemy using that element deal less damage.
  • Cannot be equipped with another Haligdrake variant or Golden Braid. Earlier versions are not required to collect or use a stronger one.
  • Pearldrake Talisman can provide another compatible layer against this element. The reductions multiply rather than adding their percentages together.
  • Does not raise Faith, strengthen your Holy attacks or protect against Death Blight buildup. Holy damage and Death Blight are separate mechanics.
  • With 25% existing negation for a covered damage type, its 13% enemy reduction gives 34.75% total negation. It is not an extra 13 percentage points added directly to the armor display.
  • The corpse is visible from the starting cave, but the intended approach is the small beach cave outside. No boss, key or trip into Leyndell is required.
  • Weighs 0.6. Its protection stays active while equipped; it does not need FP, a casting tool or an attribute requirement.
