Raises attack power by 20% for 20 seconds when Poison or Scarlet Rot triggers nearby. The attack-power increase is also 20% against other players.
The wearer becoming poisoned or rotted can activate it. A partially filled buildup bar is not enough; the ailment must actually trigger.
Poison and Rot damage ticks do not keep refreshing the timer. Another qualifying application refreshes the duration without adding a second stack of the talisman's bonus.

In-game description
A talisman depicting the exultation of pests.
Raises attack power when poisoning or rot occurs in the vicinity.
"Rot for the scarlet goddess. O scarlet blossoms, flourish in distant lands, and return to us, the unwanted children."
Where to find
Seethewater Cave boss pair
Mt. Gelmir
Starting Site of Grace: Seethewater Cave
Before you go
- From Erdtree-Gazing Hill on Altus Plateau, ride north through Wyndham Ruins into Seethewater River. Follow the ravine north, south of the Minor Erdtree, to the raised cave entrance guarded by Basilisks. Avoid their Death Blight clouds and spend two Stonesword Keys to open Seethewater Cave.
- Activate the grace and follow the tunnel past the soldiers to the first deep hole. Use its ledges to descend into the poison below.
- Bring Neutralizing Boluses or Flame, Cleanse Me for the poison. Avoid rolling in the water, since soaked clothing keeps building poison after you reach dry ground. Watch for blobs dropping onto the dry island.
- Reach the small dry island in the next room. Follow the continuing tunnel rather than the short rat-filled dead end, using the patches of dry ground to clear buildup.
- After the next poison-waterfall drop, take the northern branch. The southwestern branch goes toward the Mushroom armor and is optional.
- Descend the next shaft by its ledges, passing the rats. At the bottom, the western passage is a short loot detour; take the other passage to the boss fog.
- Defeat both Kindred of Rot to receive the talisman. Keep both in view so the second one's threaded projectiles do not hit you while you attack the first.
Notes
- Raises attack power by 20% for 20 seconds when Poison or Scarlet Rot triggers nearby. The attack-power increase is also 20% against other players.
- The wearer becoming poisoned or rotted can activate it. A partially filled buildup bar is not enough; the ailment must actually trigger.
- Poison and Rot damage ticks do not keep refreshing the timer. Another qualifying application refreshes the duration without adding a second stack of the talisman's bonus.
- Can stack with Mushroom Crown's separate 10% attack-power bonus. When both are active, their combined increase is 32%.
- It increases attack power after activation rather than the amount of Poison or Rot buildup you inflict. It does not increase Immunity, heal you or protect you from the ailment used to activate it.
- Seethewater Cave requires two Stonesword Keys. Both Kindred of Rot at the end must be defeated for the talisman, rather than the ordinary Pests encountered elsewhere.
- Poison and Scarlet Rot are alternative triggers for the same bonus. Triggering both together refreshes one effect, rather than producing two 20% stacks.
- A nearby self-inflicted Poison proc from Raw Meat Dumpling or a Fetid Pot can activate it, but you still need to cure the ailment or heal through its damage. Simply holding a Poison weapon does not activate anything.
