Knights on horseback are deadly foes. They see all below from their lofty position, meeting little meaningful resistance as they charge ahead.

Starting Site of Grace: Deathtouched Catacombs

  1. Reach Deathtouched Catacombs on northern Stormhill, near the road west of Saintsbridge.
  2. Ride northeast across the higher grassland toward the cliff above Highroad Cave.
  3. Look for the collapsed golem near the edge. Search the corpse beside it for the talisman.
  4. An intact golem nearby may wake as you approach. You can take the pickup and leave without fighting it.
  5. The item is on the cliff top, not inside Highroad Cave or down in the river ravine.

Notes

  • Increases qualifying mounted melee damage by 15%. Lances and spears are not required; other melee weapon classes can benefit while attacking from Torrent.
  • It does not boost mounted bow shots, sorceries or incantations. Riding Torrent alone does not make every kind of attack qualify.
  • It does not increase Torrent's HP, prevent you from being knocked off or reduce the damage you take while mounted.
  • The bonus does not carry over to attacks after you dismount. It is useful for mounted encounters and exploration, rather than places where Torrent cannot be summoned.
  • The pickup is beside a fallen golem on the high ground above Highroad Cave. Entering the cave or descending into the ravine takes you away from it.
  • The nearby active golem is optional. Approach the corpse from the open grassland and leave once you have the item if you do not want the fight.
