Effects

Adds two spell memory slots while equipped. This gives room to memorize more sorceries or incantations at a Site of Grace; it does not teach spells by itself.

Some spells occupy more than one slot. Two extra slots can therefore make room for one larger spell rather than two separate spells.

The bonus is temporary equipment capacity. Memory Stones provide permanent slots and do not need a talisman slot to stay active.

Where to find

Nokstella upper throne-room chest

Ainsel River Main

Starting Site of Grace: Nokstella, Eternal City

Before you go

  • Reach upper Ainsel River and Nokstella.
  1. Give Ranni the Fingerslayer Blade from Nokron, then use the waygate at the top of Renna's Rise to reach Ainsel River Main. Renna's Rise is the northern tower in the Three Sisters area behind Caria Manor, separate from Ranni's own tower.
  2. Activate Ainsel River Main grace and follow the water through the Claymen toward the hanging creature in Uhl Palace Ruins. Use the ruins on the left as cover from its stone volleys and continue beneath it into the river tunnel.
  3. Pass the ants, including the flying ones. At the open cavern, follow the river to the right; the left branch returns toward the lower river merchant.
  4. Go through the doorway on the right and down the steps to Nokstella, Eternal City grace. The ordinary Ainsel River Well in Liurnia does not reach this upper entrance.
  5. Climb the large stairs beside the grace into the upper city. The first room on the left contains the glovewort bell bearing, not this talisman. Continue along the upper path and stairs toward the large bridge.
  6. Cross the bridge carefully, watching for the rolling silver sphere. On the far side, take the stairs up. The building on the right is a separate room with another sphere and a glovewort chest.
  7. Enter the building at the top of the stairs. Silver Tears fall from its ceiling, followed by a large sphere. Retreat through the doorway if you need space to fight instead of getting trapped among them.
  8. Leave through the path on the left and enter the final building. Defeat the Nox Swordstress and the two Silver Tears that turn into humanoid enemies, then open the chest beneath the empty throne.
  9. The door on the left leads outside to a lift back down. Astel is farther beyond Nokstella and is not required for this chest.

Notes

  • Adds two spell memory slots while equipped. This gives room to memorize more sorceries or incantations at a Site of Grace; it does not teach spells by itself.
  • Some spells occupy more than one slot. Two extra slots can therefore make room for one larger spell rather than two separate spells.
  • The bonus is temporary equipment capacity. Memory Stones provide permanent slots and do not need a talisman slot to stay active.
  • It does not raise maximum FP, lower casting costs or change spell requirements. You still need the required attributes and a suitable staff or sacred seal.
  • It is one of the legendary talismans. The chest is in Nokstella's upper throne room, not along the lower river route toward the Lake of Rot.
  • The ordinary Ainsel River Well does not lead to this upper city. Use Renna's Rise after Ranni's Fingerslayer Blade step, or the coffin route from Deeproot Depths.
