In-game description

Talisman depicting a pearlescent ancient dragon.

Boosts non-physical damage negation.

The ancient dragons, who ruled in the prehistoric era before the Erdtree, would protect their lord as a wall of living rock.

And so it is that the shape of the dragon has become symbolic of all manner of protections.

Where to find

Isolated floating ruins reached from the Four Belfries

Liurnia of the Lakes / Crumbling Farum Azula

Starting Site of Grace: The Four Belfries

Before you go

  • One Imbued Sword Key.
  1. Reach the Four Belfries on western Liurnia's hill. Collect the Imbued Sword Key from the highest belfry chest if you do not already have one.
  2. Activate the waygate marked Crumbling Lands with the Imbued Sword Key.
  3. Use the gate to reach a small isolated section of Farum Azula. This does not open the main late-region dungeon.
  4. Descend the floating stone platforms toward the two Beastmen below. Watch the edges while fighting or moving around them.
  5. Look below the northern edge of their platform for the next landing and the corpse holding the talisman.
  6. Loot it and return by fast travel when you are safe. You cannot continue from these platforms into the main Farum Azula route.

Notes

  • Reduces incoming magic, fire, lightning and holy damage by 5% from enemies and 2% from other players.
  • The protection applies while equipped without a blocking or full-HP condition. It does not reduce physical damage or status buildup.
  • Cannot be equipped with the +1, +2 or +3 variants. Those are separate pickups rather than upgrades made from this talisman.
  • Can combine with a damage-specific drake talisman. Their reductions multiply, so the combined protection is smaller than adding the two percentages directly.
  • The Four Belfries gate reaches an isolated Farum Azula platform. It does not open the main dungeon, and you cannot walk from this pickup into the later boss route.
  • An Imbued Sword Key opens the Crumbling Lands gate. The isolated platform is reached from Liurnia, long before the main Farum Azula route.
