In-game description

Talisman depicting a duo of pearlescent ancient dragons.

Greatly boosts non-physical damage negation.

The ancient dragons, who ruled in the prehistoric era before the Erdtree, would protect their lord as a wall of living rock.

And so it is that the shape of the dragon has become symbolic of all manner of protections.

Before you go

  • One Stonesword Key.
  1. From Erdtree-Gazing Hill, ride north up the rising ground into Wyndham Ruins.
  2. Search the ruined structures for the cellar staircase sealed by an imp statue. Stay within the ruins rather than continuing to Wyndham Catacombs in the cliff above.
  3. Spend one Stonesword Key at the seal and descend the stairs.
  4. Open the chest for Pearldrake Talisman +1.
  5. The Tibia Mariner roaming the ruins is not required for the chest.

Notes

  • Reduces incoming Magic, Fire, Lightning and Holy damage by 7% against enemies or 3% against other players. The smaller player-versus-player value applies against player attacks, rather than using the enemy reduction everywhere.
  • Physical damage remains unaffected. This also does not raise Immunity, Robustness, Focus or Vitality, so elemental protection is separate from status-buildup resistance.
  • Can work alongside a damage-specific drake talisman for additional protection against that element. Two Pearldrake variants cannot be equipped together.
  • Its protection is active while worn, without a block, full-HP condition or timed trigger. Pearl Shield Talisman is the different item focused on guarding.
  • With 25% existing negation for a covered damage type, its 7% enemy reduction gives 30.25% total negation. It is not an extra 7 percentage points added directly to the armor display.
  • The chest is below Wyndham Ruins behind a one-key seal. The Tibia Mariner is optional, and Wyndham Catacombs in the higher cliff is a separate dungeon.
  • Weighs 0.9. Its protection stays active while equipped; it does not need FP, a casting tool or an attribute requirement.
