In-game description
Item for online play.
Obtained after using the Mohg's Great Rune and invading another world.
Consumed upon use.
Enemies inside the invaded world receive a blessing of blood, which boosts their attack power when blood loss occurs nearby. Also, your HP recovers when blessed enemies defeat a player.
Where to find
Temporary invasion item from Mohg's Great Rune
Multiplayer
Before you go
- Active Mohg's Great Rune
- Online invasion access
- Defeat Mohg, Lord of Blood and restore his Great Rune at the Divine Tower of East Altus.
- Equip Mohg's Great Rune at a Site of Grace and activate it with a Rune Arc.
- Invade another player's world. The Phantom Great Rune appears temporarily for that invasion.
Notes
- Lets an invader pass the blessing of blood to nearby enemies in the host's world.
- Blessed enemies can gain an attack boost when blood loss occurs nearby. Enemies defeating players can also restore HP to the invader.
- Using the phantom blessing costs a portion of maximum HP. Do not treat it as a free permanent upgrade.
- It is a temporary session item. You do not find it as a normal corpse pickup or keep it after the invasion.
- You receive three temporary copies for an invasion made with Mohg’s restored and activated Great Rune. Spend one near the enemies you want to bless, rather than expecting a map-wide effect.
- Its use reduces maximum HP by 10% for the invasion effect. This is a real survivability tradeoff even before the host or their allies attack you.
- Nearby Blood Loss gives blessed enemies a 30% attack bonus for 20 seconds. That bonus belongs to those enemies, not directly to your own weapon.
- It cannot be carried back as a permanent spare Great Rune. A new invasion under the active blessing supplies that session’s temporary copies.
