Effects
Adds 5 Vigor, Endurance, Strength and Dexterity while making you take 15% more physical and elemental damage.
An early character can gain HP, stamina, equip load and weapon requirements together. Later, softer attribute gains can make the same extra points less valuable while the damage penalty remains.
Strength and Dexterity improve only compatible scaling. A weapon that barely uses one of them does not turn all twenty added points into an equivalent damage increase.

In-game description
This legendary talisman is an eye engraved with an Elden Rune, said to be the seal of King Consort Radagon.
Greatly raises vigor, endurance, strength, and dexterity, but also increases damage taken by a similar measure.
Solemn duty weighs upon the one beholden; not unlike a gnawing curse from which there is no deliverance.
Where to find
Fort Faroth's enclosed rat chamber
Dragonbarrow
Starting Site of Grace: Fort Faroth
- Reach the Third Church of Marika in northeastern Limgrave. Behind the church, follow the shallow stream into the bushes to find the sending gate against the cliff. Use it to reach Bestial Sanctum in Dragonbarrow.
- Activate Bestial Sanctum grace inside, then ride south past the Black Blade Kindred outside. Follow the road downhill to Farum Greatbridge and activate its grace before crossing.
- Activate the grace and enter the dark lower room. Pass the bats and climb the ladder at the far end.
- Step out onto the roof. The Dectus Medallion chest is a separate pickup at the tower; continue across the roof to the hole beyond the gallows.
- Drop onto the interior walkway, go left past the ladder and look for the gap to the opposite walkway.
- Jump across, pass the large rat and descend by the ladder into the walled-off section.
- Loot the corpse at the end for Radagon's Soreseal. Greyoll does not need to be killed.
Notes
- Adds 5 Vigor, Endurance, Strength and Dexterity while making you take 15% more physical and elemental damage.
- An early character can gain HP, stamina, equip load and weapon requirements together. Later, softer attribute gains can make the same extra points less valuable while the damage penalty remains.
- Strength and Dexterity improve only compatible scaling. A weapon that barely uses one of them does not turn all twenty added points into an equivalent damage increase.
- Cannot be equipped with Radagon's Scarseal. Marika's Soreseal can coexist, but their 15% penalties multiply to 32.25% more incoming damage.
- The extra HP does not erase the penalty for every build or attack. The useful tradeoff depends on your starting Vigor and the other benefits you actually use.
- Removing it can lower HP and stamina, change your roll category or leave a weapon below its requirements. It does not permanently grant five levels in each attribute.
- This is a legendary talisman in Fort Faroth's enclosed rat chamber. The tower chest holds Dectus Medallion (Right), so continue through the roof and inner walkways for the Soreseal.
- Greyoll is optional. The bats and rats are hazards on the route, rather than bosses that must die to unlock the corpse.
