About this item

Remembrance of the warrior Hoarah Loux, hewn into the Erdtree.

The power of its namesake can be unlocked by the Finger Reader.

Alternatively, it can be used to gain a great bounty of runes.

When Godfrey, first Elden Lord was robbed of his grace, becoming Tarnished, he took with him his kinfolk and left the Lands Between.

After the Long March of the Tarnished came to an end, Godfrey divested himself of kingship, becoming a simple warrior once more.

Godfrey and Hoarah Loux

Leyndell, Ashen Capital

Starting Site of Grace: Queen's Bedchamber

1. Defeat Maliketh to return to the changed capital. Cross the ash toward the Erdtree and climb the familiar root route toward the sanctuary.
2. Defeat Sir Gideon Ofnir in the sanctuary, then continue up to Queen's Bedchamber.
3. Climb to the arena before the Erdtree and defeat Godfrey. Continue through his Hoarah Loux phase to finish the encounter and receive the remembrance.
4. The earlier golden shade of Godfrey is a separate boss and does not award this item.

Notes

• Take it to Finger Reader Enia at Roundtable Hold to choose a reward: Axe of Godfrey or Hoarah Loux's Earthshaker.
• Consuming it gives 30,000 runes and spends the remembrance. Check the unique rewards before choosing the runes.
• A Walking Mausoleum with a bell or a remembrance-duplication coffin in the Realm of Shadow can make another copy after you have earned it. Each mausoleum or coffin can be used once.
• Duplication still works after the original has been exchanged or consumed. It does not reset the stock of an Enia reward you already claimed in this journey.
• Bell-less mausoleums at Mausoleum Compound can also duplicate this remembrance.
• Axe of Godfrey is a colossal weapon. Hoarah Loux's Earthshaker is a transferable Ash of War, so you can put the skill on a compatible weapon rather than needing to wield the axe.
