In-game description

Remembrance of Morgott, the Omen King, hewn into the Erdtree.

The power of its namesake can be unlocked by the Finger Reader.

Alternatively, it can be used to gain a great bounty of runes.

Though born one of the graceless Omen, Morgott took it upon himself to become the Erdtree's protector. He loved not in return, for he was never loved, but nevertheless, love it he did.

Morgott before the Erdtree

Leyndell, Royal Capital

Starting Site of Grace: Queen's Bedchamber

  1. Enter Leyndell after obtaining the required Great Runes and follow the city toward the huge dead dragon.
  2. Climb the dragon wing and continue to West Capital Rampart. Follow the large root up to Godfrey's golden-shade arena and defeat him.
  3. Use the upper branch and buildings beyond the sanctuary to reach Queen's Bedchamber.
  4. Climb the nearby stairs to the Erdtree approach and defeat Morgott, the Omen King. Margit at Stormveil is a different encounter and does not award this remembrance.

Notes

  • Consuming it gives 30,000 runes and spends the remembrance. Check the unique rewards before choosing the runes.
  • A Walking Mausoleum with a bell or a remembrance-duplication coffin in the Realm of Shadow can make another copy after you have earned it. Each mausoleum or coffin can be used once.
  • Duplication still works after the original has been exchanged or consumed. It does not reset the stock of an Enia reward you already claimed in this journey.
  • Morgott's Cursed Sword is a curved greatsword. Regal Omen Bairn is a reusable offensive tool that spends FP, not a Spirit Ash requiring a rebirth monument.
  • The remembrance, Morgott's Great Rune and the Rold Medallion are separate rewards or progression items. Spending the remembrance does not use up access to the Mountaintops.
