About this item
Take it to Finger Reader Enia at Roundtable Hold to choose a reward: Dragon King's Cragblade or Placidusax's Ruin.
Consuming it gives 30,000 runes and spends the remembrance. Check the unique rewards before choosing the runes.
A Walking Mausoleum with a bell or a remembrance-duplication coffin in the Realm of Shadow can make another copy after you have earned it. Each mausoleum or coffin can be used once.

In-game description
Remembrance of Dragonlord Placidusax, hewn into the Erdtree.
The power of its namesake can be unlocked by the Finger Reader.
Alternatively, it can be used to gain a great bounty of runes.
The Dragonlord whose seat lies at the heart of the storm beyond time is said to have been Elden Lord in the age before the Erdtree. Once his god was fled, the lord continued to await its return.
Where to find
Dragonlord Placidusax's hidden arena
Crumbling Farum Azula
Starting Site of Grace: Beside the Great Bridge
- Take the lift down from Beside the Great Bridge and go back through the Beastmen's church. Leave by the far opening and approach the cliff outside.
- Look down to the left for the floating rocks. Drop to the first, then descend the remaining rocks to the wide curved ruin below.
- Find the empty grave-shaped recess among the bones. Stand in it and choose Lie down to enter the hidden arena.
- Defeat Dragonlord Placidusax to receive the remembrance. Taking the main bridge to Maliketh does not lead to this boss.
Notes
- Take it to Finger Reader Enia at Roundtable Hold to choose a reward: Dragon King's Cragblade or Placidusax's Ruin.
- Consuming it gives 30,000 runes and spends the remembrance. Check the unique rewards before choosing the runes.
- A Walking Mausoleum with a bell or a remembrance-duplication coffin in the Realm of Shadow can make another copy after you have earned it. Each mausoleum or coffin can be used once.
- Duplication still works after the original has been exchanged or consumed. It does not reset the stock of an Enia reward you already claimed in this journey.
- Bell-less mausoleums at Mausoleum Compound can also duplicate this remembrance.
- Dragon King's Cragblade is a heavy thrusting sword. Placidusax's Ruin is an incantation cast with a sacred seal, not a Dragon Heart exchange at a communion altar.
- Placidusax is optional and separate from Maliketh. You can receive this remembrance without defeating Maliketh first.
