About this item

Remembrance of Fire Giant, hewn into the Erdtree.

The power of its namesake can be unlocked by the Finger Reader.

Alternatively, it can be used to gain a great bounty of runes.

The Fire Giant is a survivor of the War against the Giants. Upon realizing the flames of their forge would never die, Queen Marika marked him with a curse. "O trifling giant, mayest thou tend thy flame for eternity."

Fire Giant's arena

Mountaintops of the Giants

Starting Site of Grace: Foot of the Forge

1. Defeat Morgott, obtain the Rold Medallion and use the Grand Lift of Rold to reach the Mountaintops.
2. Follow the mountain route past the frozen lake and Guardians' Garrison, then cross the huge chain onto the southern Flame Peak plateau.
3. Ride south through the giant corpses toward Foot of the Forge and activate the grace.
4. Cross one of the chains beside the grace into Fire Giant's arena. Defeat both phases to receive the remembrance.

Notes

• Take it to Finger Reader Enia at Roundtable Hold to choose a reward: Giant's Red Braid or Burn, O Flame!.
• Consuming it gives 30,000 runes and spends the remembrance. Check the unique rewards before choosing the runes.
• A Walking Mausoleum with a bell or a remembrance-duplication coffin in the Realm of Shadow can make another copy after you have earned it. Each mausoleum or coffin can be used once.
• Duplication still works after the original has been exchanged or consumed. It does not reset the stock of an Enia reward you already claimed in this journey.
• Bell-less mausoleums at Mausoleum Compound can also duplicate this remembrance.
• Giant's Red Braid is a whip, while Burn, O Flame! is an incantation. The spell does not give another weapon the whip's Flame Dance skill.
• The boss victory and the later choice at the Forge of the Giants are separate steps. You can leave after the fight to finish other business before advancing there.
