In-game description

Remembrance of Romina, Saint of the Bud, hewn into the Scadutree.

The power of its namesake can be unlocked by the Finger Reader.

Alternatively, it can be used to gain a great bounty of runes.

After the church was burned to the ground, Romina discovered a twisted divine element, which she weaved into the baleful scarlet rot.

Perhaps then, the buds might find somewhere to gain purchase once more, within the scorched remains.

Before you go

  • Enter the Realm of Shadow.
  1. From Storehouse, First Floor, take the western lift down through Shadow Keep's jar rooms and reach West Rampart.
  2. Cross the long western bridge, pass Salza and take the tower lift down to Viaduct Minor Tower. Follow the upper ruin halls to Rauh Ancient Ruins, East.
  3. Cross the bridge west, continue past the Furnace Golem and activate Rauh Ancient Ruins, West.
  4. Enter the structure southwest of the grace. Climb its stairs, pass the altar and leave through the northern doorway toward the water-filled gazebo.
  5. Continue through the gazebo and take the stairs into the rot-covered ruins. Pass the Pests and use the lift on the left.
  6. At the upper floor, take the stairs out to Church of the Bud, Main Entrance. Rest, then defeat Romina inside the church to receive the remembrance.

  • Consuming it gives 30,000 runes and spends the remembrance. Check the unique rewards before choosing the runes.
  • A Walking Mausoleum with a bell or a remembrance-duplication coffin in the Realm of Shadow can make another copy after you have earned it. Each mausoleum or coffin can be used once.
  • Duplication still works after the original has been exchanged or consumed. It does not reset the stock of an Enia reward you already claimed in this journey.
  • Bell-less mausoleums at Mausoleum Compound can also duplicate this remembrance.
  • Poleblade of the Bud is a halberd with Scarlet Rot buildup. Rotten Butterflies is an incantation, so receiving it does not add the poleblade's skill to another weapon.
