In-game description

Remembrance of Rellana, the Twin Moon Knight, hewn into the Scadutree.

The power of its namesake can be unlocked by the Finger Reader.

Alternatively, it can be used to gain a great bounty of runes.

Once a Carian princess, Rellana disavowed her birthright and chose to stand at Messmer's side instead, knowing full well that not even the brilliance of the moon could grant him succor.

Before long, she became known as the Sword of Messmer.

Before you go

  • Enter the Realm of Shadow.
  1. From Castle Front, cross the bridge into Castle Ensis and pass the Troll Knight.
  2. Follow the rising castle path to Castle Ensis Checkpoint. At the closed gate, take the right-hand drop and tunnel route.
  3. Leave the cave, climb the rocks beside the waterfall and take the long ladder back into the castle. Use the nearby gate mechanism to open the checkpoint shortcut.
  4. Continue along the main castle route past the sorcerers, then climb past the Black Knight to the lift.
  5. Ride up to Castle-Lord's Chamber and activate the grace. Enter the nearby arena and defeat both phases of Rellana for the remembrance.

  • Consuming it gives 30,000 runes and spends the remembrance. Check the unique rewards before choosing the runes.
  • A Walking Mausoleum with a bell or a remembrance-duplication coffin in the Realm of Shadow can make another copy after you have earned it. Each mausoleum or coffin can be used once.
  • Duplication still works after the original has been exchanged or consumed. It does not reset the stock of an Enia reward you already claimed in this journey.
  • Bell-less mausoleums at Mausoleum Compound can also duplicate this remembrance.
  • Rellana's Twin Blades are a paired light greatsword reward; one exchange supplies the pair. Rellana's Twin Moons is a separate sorcery with a 72 Intelligence requirement.
  • The sword pair has different damage contributions in its two blades. Equipping the pair is a different build choice from meeting the Intelligence requirement for the moon spell.
