Shabriri's Woe

Talismans

Adds 0.1 to your multiplayer enemy-target priority while equipped. This increases the priority input used by enemy targeting. It is not a 10% chance to be attacked and does not guarantee that an enemy will switch to you. The armor pieces add together, so a helm, altered cloak and greaves provide the same 0.10 addition as Shabriri's Woe. Existing enemy targets, distance and scripted behavior still matter.

In-game description

Disturbing likeness of a man whose eyes have been gouged out.

The corners of his mouth are upturned in an almost flirtatious manner.

Constantly attracts enemies' aggression.

It is said that the man, named Shabriri, had his eyes gouged out as punishment for the crime of slander, and, with time, the blight of the flame of frenzy came to dwell in the empty sockets.

Where to find

Frenzied Flame Village corpse

Liurnia of the Lakes

Starting Site of Grace: Frenzied Flame Village Outskirts

  1. Reach northeastern Liurnia above Bellum Highway and approach Frenzied Flame Village.
  2. The Frenzy-Flaming Tower can build Madness while its flame sees you. Use cover as you approach, or climb the tower and clear its casters first.
  3. Enter the village and search the corpse on the steps of the ruined building near the soldiers.
  4. Loot Shabriri's Woe. It is also available as a starting keepsake, which gives the same talisman without this trip.

Character creation

Before you go

  • Choose Shabriri's Woe as your keepsake.
  1. Select Shabriri's Woe on the keepsake screen when creating your character. Equip the talisman when you want its aggression effect; receiving it does not force you to keep it equipped.

Notes

  • Raises your priority as a target for enemy aggression. It can help draw attention away from another player or summon, but it is not an absolute taunt that overrides every attack.
  • Enemies can still follow their own targeting rules, finish a combo aimed elsewhere or hit several targets together. Standing in front of an ally does not guarantee that ally will be safe.
  • It provides no damage negation or extra HP to handle the attention. A co-op player wearing it still needs the defenses and positioning to survive.
  • Mimic Tear copies equipped talismans when summoned. Wearing this for the summon and removing it afterward can leave the spirit with the aggression effect while freeing your own slot.
  • It does not increase rune rewards or damage simply for keeping enemies focused on you.
  • Choosing it as a starting keepsake gives the same talisman as the Frenzied Flame Village pickup. Owning it does not force you to equip it or commit to the Frenzied Flame ending.
