In-game description
Shattered linchpin stone.
Raises potency of kicking and stomping skills.
Linchpin stones are spiritual anchors said to hold the ground in place and quell the fury of earthquakes—when this one shattered, the surrounding town fell into the broken earth. One account claimed that the moon itself had come tumbling down.
Where to find
Moorth Ruins rooftop corpse
Scadu Altus
Starting Site of Grace: Moorth Ruins
- From Highroad Cross in Scadu Altus, follow the road east to Moorth Ruins and activate the grace beside the cross.
- Go southeast through the large stone arch toward the ruined house directly ahead. Enter its small doorway and step onto the adjoining roof. Turn left around the corner to find the corpse holding Shattered Stone Talisman.
- Loot the corpse on that small roof, then return through the same house. The large shaft behind it is not part of this pickup route.
Notes
- Increases the damage of eligible kicking and stomping attacks by 10% against enemies and 5% against other players. It weighs 0.8.
- Useful for qualifying kicks in hand-to-hand movesets and skills such as Kick, Dryleaf Whirlwind, Hoarfrost Stomp and Divine Beast Frost Stomp. Punches do not automatically receive the same bonus.
- The Poison Flower Blooms Twice can also benefit on its eligible attack. This is a damage bonus, not an increase to the amount of Poison, Rot or Frostbite buildup applied.
- The animation alone does not establish eligibility. A skill that happens to move a foot or shake the ground is not automatically strengthened in every part of its attack.
- Can stack with the compatible kicking bonus from Divine Bird Warrior Greaves, and eligible weapon skills can also benefit from Shard of Alexander. Each effect applies only to the attacks it actually supports.
- The corpse is on the ruined house's small surface roof at Moorth Ruins. You do not need to descend the deep passage toward Bonny Village or defeat Dryleaf Dane.
