Chest behind the invisible-path side room

Hidden Path to the Haligtree

Starting Site of Grace: Hidden Path to the Haligtree

Before you go

• Both halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion.

1. Obtain the right Haligtree Secret Medallion half from Albus in the Village of the Albinaurics. He is disguised as a pot on the uphill path, before the bridge leading toward the Omenkiller.
2. Obtain the left half from the tower beyond Commander Niall at Castle Sol in the northern Mountaintops. After winning, continue behind his arena, ride the lift and loot the rooftop corpse.
3. Return to Grand Lift of Rold with both halves and switch to the secret-medallion prompt. The ordinary Rold Medallion sends you to a different destination.
4. Inside Hidden Path to the Haligtree, go along the main stairs to the circular platform above the deep central room. Look for the section of railing that has broken away.
5. Walk straight off through that gap onto the invisible floor immediately below. Drop a Rainbow Stone first to confirm the landing, and avoid jumping out toward the distant wall.
6. Turn south on the invisible walkway toward the small room. Keep testing the path with stones if you lose your bearings; the floor is hidden, not spread across the whole pit.
7. Collect Grave Glovewort [9] in the room, then strike the wall behind it. Open the chest through the revealed passage for Silver Scarab.
8. The northern branch and lower route lead to different rewards. You do not need to defeat Stray Mimic Tear to open this chest.

Notes

• Adds 75 Item Discovery. This is a flat stat increase, not a flat 75% drop chance or a guarantee that the next enemy drops its rare item.
• Discovery improves eligible random enemy drops. Fixed chests, guaranteed quest rewards and rune rewards are unaffected.
• Combines with Arcane's ordinary Discovery contribution and either Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot or Silver Horn Tender. The foot gives 125 extra Discovery with this talisman; the tender gives 135. Those two consumables replace each other.
• Gold Scarab increases runes instead. Neither Scarab supplies the other talisman's effect simply because both help with farming.
• The chest is behind an illusory wall off the invisible walkway in Hidden Path to the Haligtree. Drop straight down through the broken railing rather than jumping outward into the void.
• The Stray Mimic Tear boss is optional for the chest. Both halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion are needed to reach the hidden path through the lift's secret option.
• Equip it before defeating the enemy whose drop you want. It does not reroll loot from an enemy already killed.
• Its weight is 1.2, and its Discovery bonus has no timer while equipped. You cannot equip a second copy alongside it.
