About this item

Item for online play.

(Can also be used from the Multiplayer menu.)

Send a cooperative summon sign to several summoning pools (activated pools only).

In cooperative multiplayer, your objective will be to defeat the area boss of the world to which you were summoned.

First summoning pool east of The First Step

Limgrave

Starting Site of Grace: The First Step

1. Take the Stranded Graveyard exit lift and open the doors into Limgrave. Activate The First Step grace outside.
2. Walk east from the grace and descend the short ledge to the small summoning-pool statue. Examine it and collect Small Golden Effigy.
3. This is a convenient first pickup, not the only one. If you already passed it, the tool can be collected once from another summoning pool.

Notes

• Sends a gold cooperative sign to eligible activated summoning pools. A host must choose your sign before you enter their world.
• Activate pools while exploring, then manage which ones are enabled through the map functions menu. Activated pools carry into the next journey.
• Choose a nearby search or include distant areas. Mohgwyn Palace is excluded from the distant option even when its pools are active; go inside that area and select Nearby Only to offer help there.
• It is reusable and costs no FP. Multiplayer passwords and the applicable character and weapon upgrade matching rules still matter.
• Tarnished's Furled Finger is the alternative for placing a sign at a specific position. The effigy is more convenient when you want to help at several eligible pools.
