Effects
Increases eligible weapon-throwing attack damage by 10% against enemies and 5% against other players.
Qualifying Smithscript throws, Claws of Night throws, Golem Fist projectiles and Spear of the Impaler throws can benefit. It is the actual attack's eligibility that matters.
It does not increase every projectile released by a melee weapon. The Lizard Greatsword's projectile is not enough to qualify simply because the weapon fires something.

In-game description
A talisman depicting an ancient smithing hammer.
Inscribed with a smithscript.
Enhances weapon-throwing attacks.
In ancient times, smithing was a divine act, and blacksmiths interpreted the script they perceived in the wrinkles of molten steel to imbue weapons with souls.
Where to find
Ruined Forge of Starfall Past upper room
Scadu Altus
Starting Site of Grace: Ruined Forge of Starfall Past
- From Highroad Cross in Scadu Altus, travel east to Moorth Ruins. Turn southwest toward the large ruined rectangular building and find the opening marked by torches on its outer wall.
- Find Ruined Forge of Starfall Past southwest of Moorth Ruins and descend its entrance ladder to the grace.
- Reach the first large room and pull the lever that lowers the gate across the lava route.
- Take the newly opened passage on the left. Follow the corridor and turn right toward the ladder near its end.
- Climb to the upper room containing lava slimes. Check the left side beyond them for the corpse holding the talisman.
- You do not need to kill the golems or reach the final furnace for this pickup.
Notes
- Increases eligible weapon-throwing attack damage by 10% against enemies and 5% against other players.
- Qualifying Smithscript throws, Claws of Night throws, Golem Fist projectiles and Spear of the Impaler throws can benefit. It is the actual attack's eligibility that matters.
- It does not increase every projectile released by a melee weapon. The Lizard Greatsword's projectile is not enough to qualify simply because the weapon fires something.
- Some throwing skills and consumables have eligible attacks, but the talisman is not a blanket bonus to everything you can throw.
- It increases damage rather than projectile range, status buildup or the number of consumables carried. It does not lower the Smithing Stone cost of upgrading weapons.
- The corpse is in the upper lava-slime room of Ruined Forge of Starfall Past. The golems and final furnace reward are optional for this pickup.
- Piercing Throw and Scattershot Throw have eligible thrown contacts. Ordinary bow shots, a spell shaped like a spear and every projectile from a weapon are not one interchangeable group.
- Axe Talisman can separately improve an eligible charged ordinary throw. Godfrey Icon instead applies to eligible charged skills, so the two talismans do not substitute for each other.
