Raises eligible physical pierce counterattack damage by 15% when the hit catches a target during the vulnerable part of its own attack.

This is different from a guard counter after blocking. Curved Sword Talisman improves that separate move, while Spear Talisman depends on the enemy's attack window.

The weapon does not have to be a spear. A qualifying thrust from another weapon class can benefit, while a non-piercing move on a spear does not automatically qualify.

Enhances the counterattacks that are unique to thrusting weapons.

Spears are standard weapons for soldiers in the Lands Between. They made it possible to respond to a ferocious foe with an equally ferocious counterattack.

Starting Site of Grace: Lakeside Crystal Cave

  1. From Scenic Isle in southern Liurnia, ride south to the cave opening at the base of the cliff.
  2. Activate Lakeside Crystal Cave and follow the upper path through the Demi-Humans.
  3. Pass the two braziers and continue into the small rear passage of their camp.
  4. Open the chest for Spear Talisman. Stay on the upper route; the ledge drops toward the crystal snails lead to the Bloodhound Knight instead.
  5. The boss is not required for this chest.

  • Only the eligible physical pierce damage receives the counter bonus. Elemental damage on a mixed weapon is not increased by this same effect.
  • It is not a permanent 15% bonus to every thrust. The timing and damage type must both match the effect.
  • The chest is on Lakeside Crystal Cave's upper Demi-Human route. Dropping down toward the crystal snails and Bloodhound Knight is unnecessary for this talisman.
