About this armor

Weighs 12.8 and provides 24 poise. It has no Faith, Holy-damage or incantation bonus.

The dagger story gives the regular helm, chest, gauntlets and greaves together from D's body in the newly opened room beyond Hewg. It does not require attacking D yourself.

You can give the complete regular outfit to D's twin sitting outside the Valiant Gargoyles arena in Siofra Aqueduct. This removes the armor from your inventory until you reclaim it after his final scene at Prince of Death's Throne.

In-game description

Armor depicting entwined twins of gold and silver.

The two known as D are inseparable twins.

They are of two bodies and two minds, but one single soul. Not once do they stand together; not one word do they speak to one another.

Perhaps this armor longs to find its way to the other D.

Where to find

Room beyond Hewg after Fia's dagger request

Roundtable Hold

Starting Site of Grace: Table of Lost Grace

Before you go

  • Progress Fia's dialogue until she gives you the Weathered Dagger.
  • Obtain Twinned Armor and the ordinary Tailoring Tools.
  1. Meet D and Fia at Roundtable Hold. After reaching Altus Plateau, let Fia hold you and ask to speak in secret until she gives you the Weathered Dagger.
  2. Take the dagger to D and choose the dialogue option to give it to him.
  3. Reload Roundtable Hold and check the newly opened room at the far end of the passage beyond Hewg.
  4. Loot D's body for Twinned Helm, Armor, Gauntlets and Greaves together, plus his bell bearing. Finish Fia's dialogue here before leaving if you are continuing her story.
  5. For ordinary tailoring, defeat the two Demi-Human Chiefs in Coastal Cave on western Limgrave's beach to obtain the Tailoring Tools.
  6. At a grace, choose Alter garments and change Twinned Armor for 500 runes, or use Boc's available free tailoring service. The change is reversible and uses your existing chest piece.

Notes

  • Weighs 12.8 and provides 24 poise. It has no Faith, Holy-damage or incantation bonus.
  • The dagger story gives the regular helm, chest, gauntlets and greaves together from D's body in the newly opened room beyond Hewg. It does not require attacking D yourself.
  • You can give the complete regular outfit to D's twin sitting outside the Valiant Gargoyles arena in Siofra Aqueduct. This removes the armor from your inventory until you reclaim it after his final scene at Prince of Death's Throne.
  • The chest can be changed with ordinary tailoring for 500 runes at a grace, or free through Boc. It drops from 13.7 weight and 25 poise to 12.8 weight and 24 poise, with lower defenses and resistances.
  • Restore the regular chest before trying to give the outfit to D's twin. An altered chest prevents the complete-set handover, even when you own the other three pieces.
  • Wearing the armor does not cause the HP penalty from Fia's embrace. That penalty belongs to carrying the ordinary Baldachin's Blessing; use the blessing and let its effect expire to clear it.
  • The twin's handover is optional for obtaining Fia's ending rune. His later reward scene allows you to reclaim the armor alongside Inseparable Sword; it is not a second random armor farm.
