In-game description

A talisman depicting a warrior two-handing a sword.

Enhances attacks with two-handed weapons.

The horned warriors were fitting figureheads for the military might of the tower they kept watch over, their deft attacks slashing through any and all foes.

Where to find

Temple Town Ruins upper chest

Rauh Base

Starting Site of Grace: Temple Town Ruins

  1. From Moorth Ruins grace in Scadu Altus, ride northeast to the small triangular pool. Look for the cave beside a statue of Marika and a Scadutree Fragment.
  2. Enter the cave and follow it past the perfumers to the glowing golden tree. Take the path to its right down into the swamp.
  3. Turn left through the route beneath the rock and continue until you emerge into Rauh Base. Activate Ancient Ruins Base grace ahead.
  4. Follow the valley southwest toward Temple Town Ruins. A bow golem and an axe golem guard the approach; fighting them is optional if you can pass their attacks.
  5. Approach the southern wall of the ruins and find the gap beside the hanging cloth.
  6. Enter through the gap and climb the broken stairs and rooftops toward the upper room.
  7. A Horned Warrior guards the final approach. Clear it or create enough space to reach the chest safely.
  8. Open the chest at the top. This is in Rauh Base, not the upper Ancient Ruins reached from Shadow Keep.

Notes

  • Increases qualifying two-handed normal melee attacks by 15% against enemies and 10% against other players.
  • A sword is not required. Other eligible melee weapon classes can benefit when held in the actual two-handed stance.
  • Having the other hand empty is not enough. Use the two-hand input on the weapon you intend to attack with.
  • Paired-weapon and dual-wielding movesets do not count as ordinary two-handed use. Pressing the two-hand input to draw a built-in paired weapon does not make it qualify automatically.
  • Weapon skills, spells, critical attacks, mounted attacks and ranged shots do not receive this same bonus. A skill using both arms is still a skill.
  • The 15% attack bonus is separate from the normal effective-Strength benefit of two-handing. A qualifying weapon can receive the talisman bonus even when Strength is not its main scaling attribute.
  • The chest is above Temple Town Ruins in Rauh Base. The upper Ancient Ruins reached from Shadow Keep are a different route.
  • Qualifying light attacks, heavy attacks, charged heavies, jumping attacks and guard counters can benefit. It changes damage, rather than automatically increasing every hit's stance damage.
  • The bonus can stack with an attack-specific talisman when both conditions apply. A qualifying two-handed jumping attack can receive both this talisman and Claw Talisman.
  • Weighs 1.2. Return to a one-handed stance and the two-handed attack bonus stops applying.
