Effects
An eligible enemy actually reached by the effect joins your side for up to 180 seconds. Bosses, players and charm-immune targets are not converted. This changes the enemy's AI team rather than its phantom color. It does not promise a particular target or attack, and the effect ends when the target dies.

Where to find
Crafting after obtaining Fevor's Cookbook [3]
Roundtable Hold
Starting Site of Grace: Table of Lost Grace
Before you go
- Crafting Kit
- Fevor's Cookbook [3]
- Ingredients per batch: 1 Sacramental Bud and 1 Miquella's Lily
- Visit Mohgwyn Palace
- Defeat a Shardbearer such as Godrick, then speak to Finger Reader Enia at Roundtable Hold.
- Find Varre at Rose Church on an island southwest of Raya Lucaria Academy in Liurnia. Tell him the Two Fingers did not seem right and receive his Festering Bloody Fingers.
- Attempt three player invasions, or use the red invasion sign at Writheblood Ruins in Altus Plateau to defeat Magnus the Beast Claw. Defeating Magnus once satisfies this stage without online play.
- Return to Varre and accept the anointing to receive Lord of Blood's Favor.
- For maiden's blood without killing a friendly NPC, go to the Church of Inhibition in northeastern Liurnia. Follow the uphill route past Frenzied Flame Village, take cover from the tower's Madness and deal with Vyke if he invades.
- Interact with the dead maiden seated inside the church to stain the favor. Return to Varre at Rose Church and agree to offer your finger.
- After receiving Bloody Finger, continue speaking to Varre. He gives you Pureblood Knight's Medal; do not leave after the finger reward.
- Use Pureblood Knight's Medal and activate a grace in Mohgwyn Palace. Visiting the palace is enough for the cookbook reward; you do not need to defeat Mohg.
- Return to Gideon's study at Roundtable Hold and discuss Mohgwyn Palace to receive Fevor's Cookbook [3]. If Gideon has left after Maliketh, buy the unclaimed book from the Twin Maiden Husks for 2,000 runes.
- With a Crafting Kit, combine one Sacramental Bud and one Miquella's Lily outside combat to make one Bewitching Branch.

Merchant on the slope south of Bellum Church
Liurnia of the Lakes
Starting Site of Grace: Bellum Church
Before you go
- Have 1,600 runes per item.
- Reach Bellum Church on northeastern Liurnia's main road.
- Take the sloping route south toward the ravine and find the merchant beneath the stone arch.
- Buy up to five Bewitching Branches for 1,600 runes each.
Five-branch keepsake
Starting area
- Choose Bewitching Branch during character creation to start with five copies.
Notes
- Consumes one branch and 14 FP to stab a susceptible enemy and charm it for up to three minutes. This is a short-range use, not a projectile thrown from safety.
- The charmed enemy fights its former allies temporarily. It is not a permanent summon, and the effect cannot control every enemy type.
- Bosses are immune to this charm, but some ordinary enemies accompanying them are susceptible. Commander Niall's summoned knights are a useful example; charming a knight does not charm Niall himself.
- Charming an enemy does not make the area safe forever. Watch its remaining allies and remember that it can become hostile again after the effect ends.
- Craft one from one Sacramental Bud and one Miquella's Lily with Fevor's Cookbook [3]. These ingredients are more limited than common flowers, so failed stabs still have a cost.
- Gideon gives that book for reporting a visit to Mohgwyn Palace. Killing Mohg is unnecessary for the book, and Law of Causality is a different reward after Mohg.
- Five branches can be chosen as the starting keepsake, and the merchant below Bellum Church sells five for 1,600 runes each. Those early supplies do not require first reaching the palace.
- Charming Branch is the later area version with a larger FP cost and a different recipe. The two names do not refer to the same consumable.
