About this item

A quick physical Pierce projectile that costs no FP. Damage favors Dexterity, with a smaller Strength contribution.

Useful for finishing an enemy with little HP, drawing one target away from a group or keeping pressure while you stay outside melee range.

It has no innate Poison or Blood Loss. Poisonbone Dart and Kukri supply those separate effects, with their own damage, buildup and throwing behavior.

In-game description

Short dagger for throwing. It has no handguard.

The blade is polished, and its weight is expertly balanced.

Throw at enemies to deal damage.

This auxiliary weapon, used primarily to constrain an enemy's movements, can still be deadly in the right hands.

Notes

  • A quick physical Pierce projectile that costs no FP. Damage favors Dexterity, with a smaller Strength contribution.
  • Useful for finishing an enemy with little HP, drawing one target away from a group or keeping pressure while you stay outside melee range.
  • It has no innate Poison or Blood Loss. Poisonbone Dart and Kukri supply those separate effects, with their own damage, buildup and throwing behavior.
  • Kale sells an unlimited supply for 40 runes each. Plain Bone Dart is a craftable alternative with lower base damage and the same main scaling attributes.
  • Lock onto the intended enemy before a pull, then back away to make room. Following the knife into the rest of the group defeats the purpose of separating them.
  • Damage uses the projectile's own attributes and attack rather than the reinforcement level or coating of your equipped sword.
