In-game description
One of the ancient Erdtree incantations.
Grants a blessing to the caster and nearby allies, gradually restoring HP.
Hold to continue praying and delay activation.
Blessings once fell like tears from the Erdtree, and this incantation is but a lingering remnant of their power.
Where to find
Church of Vows
Liurnia of the Lakes
Starting Site of Grace: Church of Vows
Before you go
- Go to Church of Vows on the raised ground in eastern Liurnia. From the Artist's Shack, follow the road north and take the uphill branch to the ruined church.
- Speak to Miriel, the enormous turtle inside, and buy Blessing's Boon for 4,000 runes. It is part of his starting shop and does not need a prayerbook.
- If Miriel is dead, give his Bell Bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold to buy his available stock. You do not need to kill him to get this incantation.
Notes
- Requires 24 Faith, one memory slot and a sacred seal, and costs 30 FP. Restores 8 HP per second for 90 seconds to you and allies close enough to receive the initial blessing.
- A full uninterrupted duration can restore about 720 HP per affected person, provided that much health is missing over time. It does not give all that HP at once.
- Allies need to be close when you release it, then can move away while their blessing continues. Hold the casting button to wait for them to gather, rather than casting while they are still across the room.
- The healing amount is fixed. Extra Faith, a stronger seal or an incantation-damage talisman does not improve each tick.
- It shares the temporary regeneration slot with Bestial Vitality and the other blessing. Casting another of those effects replaces this one rather than adding their healing together.
- It can work alongside passive regeneration from Blessed Dew Talisman or Icon Shield. An immediate healing spell also works without replacing the ongoing regeneration.
- It restores HP without curing poison or Scarlet Rot. A damaging ailment can outpace the recovery, so use the appropriate cure as well.
- Old Lord's Talisman extends your duration to 117 seconds. It does not increase the healing of each tick.
- Blessing of the Erdtree heals faster at 12 HP per second, but costs twice as much FP. This cheaper version is useful when you have time to recover between encounters.
