One of the incantations that draws directly from the power of the Fire Giants.

Hurls several balls of fire at once.

Charging enhances potency and causes the balls of fire to explode.

There is no record of this incantation in common prayerbooks. Only a select few prelates know of its existence.

Before you go

• Reach the Mountaintops of the Giants after defeating Morgott and receiving the Rold Medallion.

1. Reach the Mountaintops through the Grand Lift of Rold, then follow the main route to Whiteridge Road and Guardians' Garrison.
2. Enter the fort and find the ladder leading to the upper level. Watch for the monks and guardians while climbing through the courtyard.
3. Past the first hostile guardian above, find the broken section of the western wall. Use that gap to step onto the wooden scaffolding outside.
4. Follow the walkway around the fort and climb to the upper landing, where Chief Guardian Arghanthy guards the next tower.
5. Deal with Arghanthy, enter the tower he was guarding and climb its ladder.
6. Open the chest on the top landing for Giant's Prayerbook.
7. Return to Liurnia's eastern shore. From the Artist's Shack, follow the road north and take the uphill branch to Church of Vows.
8. Speak to Miriel, the large turtle inside the ruined church, and give him Giant's Prayerbook. Choose his purchase menu and buy Flame, Fall Upon Them for 10,000 runes.
9. Brother Corhyn can also receive the book at his current quest location. Handing it to one teacher does not open the same stock at the other, and the spell must still be purchased.

Notes

• Requires 28 Faith, uses one memory slot and costs 16 FP. It sends a spread of Fire projectiles instead of Giantsflame Take Thee's single large fireball.
• The spread can hit one enemy more than once, up to three damage contacts from a cast. Do not multiply its damage by every fireball you can see.
• Each contact starts at 115% of incantation scaling uncharged or 140% when charged, before defenses. Charging improves the individual contacts without raising the 16 FP cost.
• Give the projectiles room to spread. Standing directly against the target can make the initial projectile hit before the spread develops, wasting the chance for extra contacts.
• Large enemies and groups are easier to cover with several fireballs. A moving small target can leave the spread before the later contacts reach it.
• The fully charged cast benefits from Godfrey Icon. This is a single released spell, rather than a stream that keeps draining FP while held.
• Costs 10,000 runes after handing Giant's Prayerbook to Miriel or Brother Corhyn. Buying Giantsflame Take Thee does not also teach this spell.
• Giant's Seal increases this spell's damage by 20% while held in an active hand. Two active copies give 44% together. You can cast with a different seal while holding Giant's Seal in the other hand.
• Fire Scorpion Charm, Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear and Flame, Grant Me Strength can improve its Fire damage. The damage still depends on your casting seal and attributes; having the required Faith only lets you cast it.
• Fire hits can clear an enemy's active Frostbite. That lets you build Frostbite again, but also removes its damage-taken penalty until the next proc.
