1. One checked approach to Bellum Highway uses the Academy Glintstone Key. Collect it behind the sleeping dragon north of Temple Quarter, then examine the seal at South Raya Lucaria Gate to reach Main Academy Gate.
2. From Main Academy Gate, examine the other blue seal at the northeast end of the junction. It takes you across the broken bridge to East Raya Lucaria Gate; walking along the broken bridge itself does not cross the gap.
3. Ride north along Bellum Highway and turn toward Bellum Church on the left side of the road. Activate its grace.
4. Use the broken floor and descending path through the church ruins to reach the merchant camp just north of the church. The merchant is below the church approach, not beside its statue.
5. Buy the cookbook for 2,000 runes. You do not need to activate Grand Lift of Dectus or defeat an academy boss for this purchase.
6. Buy the Crafting Kit from Kalé at Church of Elleh for 300 runes if Item Crafting is still locked. The cookbook alone does not unlock the crafting menu.
7. With the book and materials in your inventory, open Item Crafting outside combat and select Bone Great Arrow (Fletched). One craft makes 5.

Notes

• One craft makes 5, using 1 Hefty Beast Bone and 1 Flight Pinion. You keep the cookbook and Crafting Kit; only the ingredients are spent.
• Greatbow ammunition. Ordinary bows, light bows, crossbows and ballista weapons cannot fire these greatarrows.
• Adds 95 Physical attack power to the shot. This is the ammunition contribution, before the ranged weapon, skill, distance and enemy defenses determine the actual damage.
• The Flight Pinion gives this version better flight distance. Its listed attack power and status buildup are the same as the unfletched version; the feather is not an extra damage or buildup upgrade.
• The recipe comes from the merchant below Bellum Church. Kalé's first book only unlocks the smaller Bone Arrow recipes and Bone Bolt.
• Regular Great Arrow has 100 Physical attack power compared with 95 here. This craft uses the larger Hefty Beast Bone, rather than Thin Beast Bones.
• A greatbow shot can knock lighter enemies backward, including off ledges. That does not mean it will topple every boss or heavy enemy.
• Carry up to 30 of this type. A full stack allows six crafts of five, so prepare extra supplies before a long trip.
