Greatbow ammunition with 105 Physical attack power, compared with 100 for an ordinary Great Arrow. It is not restricted to Golem Greatbow.

Its wind impact pressures guards and nearby enemies. The base arrow has 90 guard-stamina damage and ten stance damage, compared with 60 and seven for Great Arrow; skills and the separate wind impact use their own modifiers.

Guard-stamina damage, stance damage and knockback are different effects. A stronger hit does not guarantee a stance break or knock a large boss down.

In-game description

Greatarrow of black stone crafted by a civilization now gone to ruin. Used by the Guardian Golem.

This hefty arrow is enrobed in tempestuous winds, allowing it to break enemy stances and guards with ease.

Archer Golem on the Divine Tower bridge

Limgrave

Starting Site of Grace: Limgrave Tower Bridge

  1. Inside Stormveil, return to the main gate courtyard and take the eastern route into the large building guarded by the blade-wielding lion. Activate Limgrave Tower Bridge inside.
  2. Go out onto the bridge past the two halberd Golems. The greatbow Golem stands farther along before the broken section. Use the bridge pillars to cover your approach from its shots.
  3. Close in on the archer and attack its ankles, watching for its stomps. Defeat it and check the loot for the five-arrow bundle.
  4. Rest at Limgrave Tower Bridge and repeat if needed. You do not need to use the sending gate, defeat Godrick or restore his Great Rune to farm the bridge archer.

  • Its wind impact pressures guards and nearby enemies. The base arrow has 90 guard-stamina damage and ten stance damage, compared with 60 and seven for Great Arrow; skills and the separate wind impact use their own modifiers.
  • Guard-stamina damage, stance damage and knockback are different effects. A stronger hit does not guarantee a stance break or knock a large boss down.
  • Particularly useful with arrow-rain skills because the wind impacts can catch enemies near the falling arrows. Only the projectiles and impacts that connect contribute damage.
  • Eligible greatbow Golems drop five at a base 5% chance at 100 Discovery. Higher Discovery improves the chance; the bundle is not guaranteed after any fixed number of kills.
  • There is no current merchant supply or crafting recipe. The old 500-rune merchant listing belongs to the original unpatched version, rather than the current shop.
  • Carry up to 30. Golem's Magic Arrow is a separate split-damage ammunition type, not a Magic affinity applied to this arrow.
