In-game description

A crystal tear formed slowly over the ages where the Erdtree's bounty falls to the ground.

Can be mixed in the Flask of Wondrous Physick.

The resulting concoction eliminates all FP consumption.

However, this effect is only brief and will quickly expire.

Where to find

Minor Erdtree below Volcano Manor

Mt. Gelmir

Starting Site of Grace: Road of Iniquity

  1. Start at Ninth Mt. Gelmir Campsite. Use the nearby spiritspring to reach the Full-Grown Fallingstar Beast's crater, then cross to the long rock jutting from the far side and drop onto the path below.
  2. Follow the road toward Volcano Manor, but take the downhill branch instead of entering the manor. Continue below the cliffs, past the map stele, to Road of Iniquity.
  3. From that grace, go east to the Minor Erdtree and defeat the Ulcerated Tree Spirit. Keep room around you so its moving body does not pin you against the tree or cliffs.
  4. Both Cerulean Hidden Tear and Leaden Hardtear are awarded when it dies. The Fallingstar Beast and Volcano Manor's main boss are not required for this pickup.

Notes

  • Removes FP costs for 10 seconds. The window is short, so drink just before the casts or skills you want to use.
  • It can allow an expensive Spirit Ash summon even when your normal maximum FP is below that summon's cost.
  • It does not remove stamina costs or make the casting animation safe. Enemies can still interrupt you.
  • The Visage Shield's Tongues of Fire does not receive the usual FP-free benefit.
  • Rest at a Site of Grace and choose Mix Wondrous Physick to use this tear. Drinking the flask uses its charge; resting refills it without consuming the tear.
  • The FP-free window does not remove HP costs. A summon such as Mimic Tear still needs its health payment, and attacks that wound you can still do so.
