In-game description

A crystal tear formed slowly over the ages where the Erdtree's bounty falls to the ground.

Can be mixed in the Flask of Wondrous Physick.

The resulting concoction converts incoming damage into recovered HP instead. However, physical damage cannot be converted.

This effect is only brief and will quickly expire.

Where to find

Narrow ledge above Giant's Gravepost

Mountaintops of the Giants

Starting Site of Grace: Foot of the Forge

  1. Start at Foot of the Forge on the high ground outside the Fire Giant's arena. Head northeast toward the cliffs and the large Fingercreeper.
  2. Find the narrow opening between the rock wall and the slope, then follow the ledge around the cliff. Smaller Fingercreepers line this path.
  3. Stay on the ledge until you reach the stone bowl overlooking the lower ground near Giant's Gravepost. Collect the tear from the bowl.
  4. Approach from Foot of the Forge. The grace below the ledge does not provide a direct climb to this pickup.

Notes

  • For 15 seconds, qualifying nonphysical hits restore 5% of your maximum HP instead of dealing their usual elemental damage.
  • Physical damage still gets through. An attack with both physical and elemental damage can still hurt you.
  • This is a brief defensive window. Drink close to the attack you want to cover, rather than using it at the start of a long approach.
  • Rest at a Site of Grace and choose Mix Wondrous Physick to use this tear. Drinking the flask uses its charge; resting refills it without consuming the tear.
  • It does not clear poison, rot or other existing status effects. Covering an elemental hit is different from curing its status buildup or stopping an ongoing drain.
