About this item

A normal use costs 6 FP. The thrown stone produces three Magic bolts after reaching its impact point, rather than dealing its main damage as an immediate knife-like hit.

The Magic damage scales only with Intelligence. It does not use a staff's Sorcery Scaling, and no staff or memorized sorcery is required.

Allow for the delay between the throw, the stone reaching its destination and the bolts traveling to the enemy. Cover or a moving target can prevent them from connecting.

Before you go

  • Ingredients per batch: 1 Crystal Bud and 1 Cracked Crystal
  1. From Lake-Facing Cliffs, take the downhill road toward Liurnia Lake Shore.
  2. Before reaching the water, search the soldier camp northwest of the cliff grace, south of the lakeshore grace.
  3. Check the bodies inside the camp and loot the cookbook. Watch the soldiers rather than riding straight into their tents.
  4. Buy the Crafting Kit from Kale at the Church of Elleh if Item Crafting is still unavailable.
  5. Collect 1 Crystal Bud and 1 Cracked Crystal. Outside combat, open Item Crafting and select Cuckoo Glintstone. One batch makes 1.

  • Allow for the delay between the throw, the stone reaching its destination and the bolts traveling to the enemy. Cover or a moving target can prevent them from connecting.
  • Crafts one at a time from one Crystal Bud and one Cracked Crystal. This is separate from Crystal Dart's five-item batch and its construct-malfunction effect.
  • The starting Liurnia cookbook is in the lower soldier camp. The academy's Glintstone Key and entering Raya Lucaria are unnecessary for the recipe.
  • The stone is consumed after use. Learning the recipe does not add a reusable sorcery to your spell list.
