Golden Order incantations

One of the incantations of the Golden Order fundamentalists.

Produces a ring of light and fires it forwards. The ring of light returns to a position close to the caster before disappearing.

This incantation can be cast repeatedly.

A gift from the young Miquella to his father, Radagon.

Brother Corhyn beside Goldmask

Altus Plateau

Starting Site of Grace: Forest-Spanning Greatbridge

Before you go

• Have 11,000 runes.
• Tell Corhyn where Goldmask is and rest so he joins Goldmask on the northern bridge span.

1. Reach Altus Plateau, then speak to Brother Corhyn at Roundtable Hold until he says he is leaving to search for Goldmask. Find him again beside the Altus map monument on the road north of Altus Highway Junction.
2. Find Goldmask on the northern broken section of Forest-Spanning Greatbridge, south of the windmill country. Interact with him, return to Corhyn and tell him where Goldmask is. Rest, return to the bridge and finish Corhyn's new dialogue beside Goldmask.
3. Forest-Spanning Greatbridge grace is beside the broken southern span. Its sending gate reaches the northern side, from which you can walk out onto Goldmask's section of bridge.
4. After telling Corhyn where Goldmask is and resting, return to Goldmask on that northern span. Open Corhyn's expanded shop and buy Discus of Light for 11,000 runes.

Notes

• Requires 13 Intelligence and 13 Faith, uses one memory slot and costs 3 FP and 20 stamina. Its low FP cost makes it useful for ordinary enemies when you can keep enough distance to cast safely.
• Deals Holy damage with an outgoing ring that passes through enemies, stops at an obstacle or its maximum range, then comes back toward you. The same enemy can be hit on the outgoing and return paths.
• Each pass has attack power equal to 150% of Incantation Scaling before bonuses and enemy defenses. Two contacts are possible, but movement and obstacles can prevent the second.
• Damage uses the casting seal's Incantation Scaling. Meeting an Intelligence requirement does not add Intelligence scaling to a Faith-only seal; Golden Order Seal scales with both Intelligence and Faith.
• Golden Order Seal boosts it by 10%, Dryleaf Seal by 15%, and Radiant Gold Mask by 10%. You can cast with a stronger seal while holding a bonus seal in the other active hand. The two different seal bonuses stack to 26.5%.
• It cannot be charged, so Godfrey Icon does not help. Flock's Canvas Talisman and Holy damage bonuses improve its damage; Shard of Alexander is for weapon skills.
• You can move to change where the returning ring meets you. A shielded enemy may block the outward hit but expose its back to the return.
• More than one cast can remain in flight. Watch your footing because each cast steps forward, especially beside ledges.
• The returning ring can trigger your Erdtree Greatshield's Golden Retaliation or a shield's Carian Retaliation. This needs the shield skill's timing; simply holding a shield does not convert every returning ring.
• Buy it for 11,000 runes after Corhyn joins Goldmask. If Corhyn dies after unlocking that stock, his bearing preserves it at the Twin Maiden Husks. Killing him before the unlock can make the spell unavailable for that journey.
