About this item
Consumes one clump to throw five small explosive stones in a spread. It costs no FP and can be carried in stacks of up to 20.
Each stone deals Fire damage, with stronger Strength than Dexterity scaling. One projectile has lower damage than a single Explosive Stone, but several contacts can make the clump stronger close up.
A wide nearby target can catch more of the spread. At a distance, more stones can miss, and a wall or uneven terrain can catch part of the volley.

A clump of small stones with smoldering cores.

Limgrave
Starting Site of Grace: Limgrave Tunnels
- Follow the northern edge of Agheel Lake to the mine entrance in the cliff. Ride the lift down and activate Limgrave Tunnels grace.

- Defeat those miners and collect their drops. Rest and repeat for another chance at Explosive Stone Clumps.
Notes
- Consumes one clump to throw five small explosive stones in a spread. It costs no FP and can be carried in stacks of up to 20.
- Each stone deals Fire damage, with stronger Strength than Dexterity scaling. One projectile has lower damage than a single Explosive Stone, but several contacts can make the clump stronger close up.
- A wide nearby target can catch more of the spread. At a distance, more stones can miss, and a wall or uneven terrain can catch part of the volley.
- The five visible stones do not guarantee five hits on the enemy. Individual small explosions also face the target's defenses separately.
- Fire bonuses improve the explosions. The item is neither a pot nor a weapon skill, so pot bonuses and Shard of Alexander do not apply to it.
- Can remove an active Frostbite effect through Fire damage. It does not create Frostbite buildup or add an explosion every time Frostbite triggers.
- The selected explosive-miner farm is repeatable. The Sealed Tunnel bearing sells ordinary Explosive Stones, rather than giving this clump the same unlimited stock.
- There is no crafting recipe. Bring the clumps you need before entering a fight rather than expecting to craft a fresh stack during combat.
