In-game description
A Great Rune of the shardbearer Godrick.
Its blessing raises all attributes.
This Great Rune is known as the anchor ring, found in the center of the Elden Ring.
The first demigods were The Elden Lord Godfrey and his offspring, the golden lineage.
Where to find
Godrick, then Divine Tower of Limgrave
Limgrave
Starting Site of Grace: Secluded Cell
- Progress through Stormveil Castle to Secluded Cell and defeat Godrick the Grafted through both phases.
- To restore the rune, return to the castle's main gate courtyard and take the eastern route into the large building guarded by the blade-wielding lion.
- Activate Limgrave Tower Bridge and cross the bridge past the three golems. Keep moving to avoid the rear golem's greatbow shots.
- Use the sending gate at the broken end to cross to the Divine Tower of Limgrave.
- Open the tower, ride the lift up and climb to the dead Two Fingers. Interact with the glowing rune to restore its power.
Notes
- While active, adds 5 to each of the eight attributes. This improves several derived stats and can help meet equipment or spell requirements.
- After restoring it, rest at a Site of Grace, equip the Great Rune and use a Rune Arc to activate its blessing.
- The blessing ends when you die. You keep the rune, but need another Rune Arc to activate it again.
- Obtaining or restoring the rune does not permanently add the listed stats to your character.
- Check your equipment again after dying. Requirements met only through the active rune will no longer be met when its bonus disappears.
- The extra levels include Mind and Endurance as well as Vigor and the five offensive attributes. Its benefit is broad, but does not mean every weapon gains damage from all eight attributes.
- Only one Great Rune can be equipped at a time. You cannot add Godrick's attribute bonus on top of an active Morgott or Radahn blessing.
- You must earn and restore this Great Rune again in a new Journey. The permanent item is not kept the way a purchased weapon or talisman is.
