In-game description
A Great Rune of the shardbearer Morgott.
Its blessing greatly raises maximum HP.
This Great Rune is the anchor ring that houses the base, and proves two things:
That the Omen King was born of the golden lineage, and that he was indeed the Lord of Leyndell.
Where to find
Boss reward, then Divine Tower of East Altus
Leyndell / Capital Outskirts
Starting Site of Grace: Queen's Bedchamber
- Reach Queen's Bedchamber in Leyndell and climb the stairs toward the Erdtree. Defeat Morgott, the Omen King for his rune.
- Follow Leyndell's eastern exit toward the Forbidden Lands. At the lift building, take the upper bridge east instead of riding down.
- Continue toward the tower. The surroundings turn dark for the Fell Twins encounter; defeat both to clear the way.
- Open Divine Tower of East Altus, take the lift and interact with the glowing rune at the top.
Notes
- While active, raises maximum HP by 25%. It increases the health bar rather than healing a fixed amount each second.
- After restoring it, rest at a Site of Grace, equip the Great Rune and use a Rune Arc to activate its blessing.
- The blessing ends when you die. You keep the rune, but need another Rune Arc to activate it again.
- Obtaining or restoring the rune does not permanently add the listed stats to your character.
- This uses the same restoration tower as Mohg's Great Rune. You only need to clear the Fell Twins route once per journey.
- The 25% maximum-HP bonus is larger than Radahn's 15% HP bonus, but gives up Radahn's FP and stamina increases. Choose based on which resources your build needs.
- It can combine with compatible maximum-HP equipment and Physick effects. Percentage increases multiply rather than being added as a single pool of bonus points.
- You must earn and restore this Great Rune again in a new Journey. The permanent item is not kept the way a purchased weapon or talisman is.
