In-game description
One of the incantations of the Golden Order fundamentalists.
Used by hunters of Those Who Live in Death.
Creates an image of Order, dealing holy damage to nearby foes. This incantation is especially damaging to Those Who Live in Death. Any felled by this incantation cannot be revived.
The role of the hunters is to stamp out defiled reason—all for the perfection of the Golden Order.
Where to find
D's incantation shop
Roundtable Hold
Starting Site of Grace: Table of Lost Grace
Before you go
- Have 2,500 runes.
- Obtain a Deathroot, speak to D about it, visit Gurranq and return to D, or use D's bell bearing if his quest has ended.
- Obtain a Deathroot, such as the reward from the Tibia Mariner at Summonwater Village in northeastern Limgrave. Speak to D about it.
- Use the sending gate hidden in the bushes north of the Third Church of Marika to reach Bestial Sanctum. Enter the building and speak to Gurranq.
- Return to Roundtable Hold and speak to D, the man in the gold-and-silver armor. Open his shop and buy the incantation. If his quest has already ended, his bell bearing transfers his shop to the Twin Maiden Husks.
Notes
- Requires 17 Intelligence and 17 Faith, uses one memory slot and costs 17 FP and 28 stamina. It sends a low Holy wave across the ground in front of you.
- Its ordinary attack power is only 56% of Incantation Scaling, but eligible Those Who Live in Death take ten times that attack power. This is a specialized undead attack rather than a strong general-purpose Holy spell.
- Skeletons finished by this spell stay dead instead of rebuilding themselves. You do not need to hit their collapsing remains again after the spell kills them.
- The extra damage depends on the enemy's classification. An enemy being associated with death, having a skeletal appearance or using Death Blight does not automatically give it the same weakness.
- Damage uses the casting seal's Incantation Scaling. Meeting an Intelligence requirement does not add Intelligence scaling to a Faith-only seal; Golden Order Seal scales with both Intelligence and Faith.
- Golden Order Seal and Radiant Gold Mask each improve its damage by 10%. Dryleaf Seal does not boost it just because it is a Golden Order incantation; the seal's bonus applies to a different spell group.
- The wave follows the ground and can fail on uneven terrain or changes in height. Bring the target onto a clear stretch instead of casting up a ledge and expecting the effect to climb it.
- It cannot be charged, so Godfrey Icon does not help. Holy damage and incantation bonuses apply, while Shard of Alexander does not improve a spell.
- D sells it for 2,500 runes after you speak to Gurranq. If D's quest has ended, his bell bearing moves his shop to the Twin Maiden Husks.
