Starting Site of Grace: Gatefront

1. Start at Gatefront beside the soldier camp in northern Limgrave. Enter Stormgate, the large gateway leading uphill to Stormhill.
2. Defeat the crossbow-wielding soldiers around the gate and check their dropped loot. Watch for the troll dropping into the road above.
3. Rest at Gatefront and repeat if you need more. The bolt drop is random; killing an ordinary melee soldier is not the same farm.

Notes

• Crossbow ammunition with 65 Physical attack power, compared with 50 for ordinary Bolt and 44 for Bone Bolt. These are ammunition contributions rather than the final damage dealt.
• Has no built-in status or explosive effect. An ordinary crossbow does not gain Strength or Dexterity scaling from loading a better bolt.
• Crossbow-wielding soldiers can drop bundles of five. Target the soldiers actually using crossbows; a nearby soldier with a sword is not the same ammunition farm.
• The Stormgate enemies can be reached before defeating Margit or entering Stormveil. Resting at Gatefront resets the farm, but each kill is still a random chance rather than five guaranteed bolts.
• There is no crafting recipe for this bolt. Buying ordinary Bolts is the more predictable way to refill a large supply if you do not want to farm.
• Carry up to 99 of this type. It does not fit an ordinary bow or a ballista weapon.
