Two Fingers incantations

Incantation of the Two Fingers' faithful.

Increases magic damage negation.

This incantation can be cast while in motion.

Follow the path that has been set for you, and you will make enemies of all others: the monks, the sorcerers, the ancient dragon knights, and the scions of gold. Heed me—the Lands Between offers no welcome to the Tarnished.

Brother Corhyn's starting incantation shop

Roundtable Hold

Starting Site of Grace: Table of Lost Grace

Before you go

• Have 3,500 runes.
• Have access to Roundtable Hold.

1. Accept Melina's invitation to Roundtable Hold when she offers it at a grace. Once visited, the Hold can be selected at the bottom left of the map.
2. In the room with the large central table, speak to Brother Corhyn, the man in yellow robes standing against the wall. Choose his incantation shop.
3. Buy Magic Fortification for 3,500 runes. This is part of his starting stock; no prayerbook or Goldmask quest progress is needed.
4. If he has already left for Altus, follow the road north from Altus Highway Junction to the map monument. He stands beside the road near that monument until you move his quest forward.
5. After purchasing, rest at a grace and use Memorize spell. Equip a sacred seal and meet both its requirements and the spell's requirements before casting.

Notes

• Requires 10 Faith and one memory slot. Cast with a sacred seal for 20 FP.
• Reduces incoming Magic damage from enemies by 35% for 90 seconds. Against other players the reduction is 10%. It affects this damage type only.
• The reduction works on damage left after your other protection. It does not simply add 35 points to the armor figure. For example, 100 damage that would otherwise reach you becomes 65 against an enemy.
• Its strength is fixed. Extra Faith and a more highly upgraded seal do not increase the protection, provided you meet the casting requirement.
• It is a body buff. Another body buff, including Flame, Grant Me Strength, Boiled Crab or a different fortification, replaces it instead of giving both effects.
• Armor protection, compatible talismans and an aura buff such as Golden Vow can still work alongside it. You can move while casting.
• Old Lord's Talisman extends it to 117 seconds. Barrier of Gold offers stronger protection with higher requirements, but is a separate spell and cannot be stacked with this body buff.
• Costs 3,500 runes from Corhyn. If he dies before you buy it, giving Corhyn's Bell Bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks makes this starting-stock spell available there for the same price.
