About this item

Clears Poison buildup and cures an active Poison ailment. It does not cure Scarlet Rot, which uses Preserving Boluses.

Removing Poison stops its remaining damage over time. It does not restore the HP already lost, so heal separately if needed.

This is an immediate cure, rather than a resistance buff. It does not replace a cured-meat resistance effect or make the next incoming ailment harmless.

Where to find

Crafting after obtaining Armorer's Cookbook [2]

Limgrave

Starting Site of Grace: Coastal Cave

Before you go

  • Crafting Kit
  • Armorer's Cookbook [2]
  • Ingredients per batch: 1 Herba, 1 Cave Moss and 1 Great Dragonfly Head
  • 600 runes
  1. Use the sloping route down to the western beach near the First Step. Do not jump from the high cliff above the water.
  2. Follow the shore southeast from Coastal Cave until you find the merchant's campfire.
  3. Choose Purchase and buy the book for 600 runes.
  4. Buy the Crafting Kit from Kalé at Church of Elleh for 300 runes if Item Crafting is unavailable.
  5. Collect 1 Herba, 1 Cave Moss and 1 Great Dragonfly Head. Outside combat, open Item Crafting and select Neutralizing Boluses. One batch makes 1.

Medicine Peddler's Bell Bearing shop

Capital Outskirts and Roundtable Hold

Starting Site of Grace: Hermit Merchant's Shack

Before you go

  • Defeat the Bell Bearing Hunter at Hermit Merchant's Shack.
  1. Reach the northern part of the Capital Outskirts and find Hermit Merchant's Shack beside the road northwest of the capital's outer wall.
  2. Activate the grace, speak to the merchant, then pass time until night. Rest again or reload the area so the merchant is absent.
  3. Approach the shack and defeat the Bell Bearing Hunter that appears. Collect the bearing awarded for winning.
  4. Offer it to the Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold to open the medicine stock.
  5. Open the unlocked medicine stock and buy Neutralizing Boluses for 1,200 runes each. This stock is unlimited.

Nomadic Merchant on the western Limgrave beach

Limgrave

Starting Site of Grace: Coastal Cave

Before you go

  • 600 runes per item.
  1. Use the sloping route down to the western beach near the First Step. Do not jump from the high cliff above the water.
  2. Follow the shore southeast from Coastal Cave until you find the merchant's campfire.
  3. Choose Purchase and buy Neutralizing Boluses for 600 runes each. The merchant has 5; resting does not replenish that stock.

Notes

  • Clears Poison buildup and cures an active Poison ailment. It does not cure Scarlet Rot, which uses Preserving Boluses.
  • Removing Poison stops its remaining damage over time. It does not restore the HP already lost, so heal separately if needed.
  • This is an immediate cure, rather than a resistance buff. It does not replace a cured-meat resistance effect or make the next incoming ailment harmless.
  • Using one costs no FP and consumes the prepared boluses. Carry up to 99, with another 600 in storage.
  • The cookbook and Crafting Kit are kept. Each listed batch makes one, and the ingredients are consumed when crafting.
  • Each craft uses 1 Herba, 1 Cave Moss and 1 Great Dragonfly Head.
  • Medicine Peddler's Bell Bearing unlocks unlimited purchases from the Twin Maiden Husks for 1,200 runes each. Killing the ordinary Hermit Merchant is not the bearing reward; defeat the nighttime Bell Bearing Hunter.
  • The western Limgrave beach merchant also sells 5 for 600 runes each. This smaller stock is cheaper than the unlimited bearing shop and does not refill when you rest.
