About this item

A crystal tear formed slowly over the ages where the Erdtree's bounty falls to the ground.

Can be mixed in the Flask of Wondrous Physick.

The resulting concoction purifies the curse from Mohg, Lord of Blood's terrifying rite of blood.

Before you go

• The route described follows Yura's quest to the church.

1. Follow Yura's quest in Limgrave: help defeat Bloody Finger Nerijus in the ravine north of Agheel Lake, then speak with Yura afterward.
2. At Raya Lucaria's Main Academy Gate, walk northeast past the blue seal onto the bridge without using the seal. Touch Yura's red summon sign, help him defeat Bloody Finger Ravenmount Assassin, then exhaust his dialogue back in your world.
3. Travel to Altus Plateau. From Altus Highway Junction, head north toward the Second Church of Marika, using the slopes into its lower ground rather than jumping blindly from the road cliffs.
4. Speak to Yura inside the church, then defeat Eleonora when she invades. She awards the tear together with Eleonora's Poleblade.

Notes

• Mix this before fighting Mohg, Lord of Blood, then drink before his three-part Bloodboon Ritual.
• It greatly reduces the ritual's damage and curse effect. It does not stop Mohg healing himself during the transition.
• It does not provide general protection from Mohg's other attacks, and it does not replace normal healing.
• If Yura's quest has already ended, check the church anyway. His death or later progression can still allow Eleonora to appear.
• Rest at a Site of Grace and choose Mix Wondrous Physick to use this tear. Drinking the flask uses its charge; resting refills it without consuming the tear.
• You can drink before entering Mohg's arena to prepare for the ritual. The protection does not stop his normal bloodflame attacks or turn the whole fight into a damage-free window.
