Before you go

• Keep Bernahl alive. Complete his contract before Rykard is defeated or Leyndell becomes the Ashen Capital.

1. At Volcano Manor in Mt. Gelmir, speak to Tanith beside the armored knight and agree to join. Take the Drawing-Room Key and open the drawing room down the corridor. Collect the Letter from Volcano Manor from its table.
2. Read the letter to mark Old Knight Istvan on the map. In Limgrave, start at Warmaster's Shack east of Stormhill Shack and head north toward the colosseum. Find the red invasion sign below the approach to its entrance.
3. Use the red sign and defeat Old Knight Istvan in his world. This is the contract target, rather than a roaming knight. Winning gives all four regular Scaled armor pieces directly.
4. Return to Tanith and report the completed request for Magma Shot. Her spell reward is separate from the armor, and reporting the kill makes the next letter available.
5. Collect the second Letter from Volcano Manor from the drawing-room table. It names Rileigh the Idle in the Altus valley south of the Shaded Castle.
6. From Bridge of Iniquity, cross east and go south to the spiritspring. Use Torrent to descend safely in the spring, then continue southwest to the second spiritspring and descend again to the valley floor.
7. Head north through the valley to the red sign at the letter's map marker. Defeat Rileigh for Crepus's Vial and 20 Black-Key Bolts. Return to Tanith for Serpentbone Blade before continuing the manor quests.
8. After the second contract, speak to Bernahl in the drawing room and take Letter to Bernahl. You do not need to finish the later Juno Hoslow contract first. Keep Bernahl alive and complete this assignment before Rykard or Maliketh.
9. From Avenue Balcony, go down the northwest stairs and continue toward the huge petrified dragon. Climb its wing to the upper walkway, then take the passage and stairs to West Capital Rampart grace.
10. From West Capital Rampart, go southeast down the nearby stairs. Follow the lower corridor past the Oracle Envoys and pull the lever to open the large gate below.
11. Look west toward Fortified Manor. Drop from the lower walkway to the courtyard and go through the manor's large ground-level doorway. The nearby stable roofs lead to its upper floor, which is a different entrance.
12. Enter Fortified Manor's ground-floor hall and use the red sign to assist Bernahl against Vargram the Raging Wolf and Errant Sorcerer Wilhelm. This hall resembles the lower room at Roundtable Hold, but the sign is in Leyndell.
13. Defeat both opponents to receive the regular Raging Wolf outfit. Return to Bernahl at Volcano Manor and report the victory for the separate Gelmir's Fury sorcery. Finish that conversation before defeating Rykard.

Notes

• The four regular pieces weigh 24.2 together and provide 44 poise. Each piece has ordinary armor defenses and no hidden attribute or damage effect.
• Bernahl's joint invasion awards the outfit. Killing him early prevents this assignment, and Maliketh removes access to the Royal Capital manor. Finish the invasion and report back before Rykard.
• Completing the outfit adds no further set bonus. You can mix the pieces with other armor.
• The chest can be tailored for 500 runes, or free through Boc, lowering the outfit to 23.1 weight and 42 poise. The helm and limbs have no altered versions.
