About this set
The four regular pieces weigh 9.7 and provide 15 poise together. This is light clothing with limited protection against being staggered, rather than a heavy armor setup.
The hat, regular robe and bracers each raise thorn sorcery damage by 6%. Together they give about 19.1% more qualifying damage; the trousers add no spell bonus.
The bonus covers Briars of Sin, Briars of Punishment, Impenetrable Thorns and Mantle of Thorns. It does not increase blood loss buildup or boost the Crucible thorn incantation.

Fortified Manor main hall
Leyndell, Royal Capital
Starting Site of Grace: Fortified Manor, First Floor
Before you go
- Collect this before defeating Maliketh, while Leyndell is still the Royal Capital.
- Collect the outfit before defeating Maliketh, while Leyndell is still the Royal Capital. The corpse is inside Fortified Manor, not at Roundtable Hold.
- From Avenue Balcony, go down the northwest stairs and continue toward the huge petrified dragon. Climb its wing to the upper walkway, then take the passage and stairs to West Capital Rampart grace.
- From West Capital Rampart, go southeast down the nearby stairs. Follow the lower corridor past the Oracle Envoys and pull the lever to open the large gate below.
- Look west toward Fortified Manor. Drop from the lower walkway to the courtyard and go through the manor's large ground-level doorway. The nearby stable roofs lead to its upper floor, which is a different entrance.
- Search the large entrance hall for the corpse on the red carpet. Loot it for Alberich's Pointed Hat, Robe, Bracers and Trousers together. Fortified Manor, First Floor grace is in a side room.
- The red invasion sign in this building is part of Bernahl's assignment. You do not need to join that invasion or defeat Mad Tongue Alberich at Roundtable Hold to collect the outfit.
Notes
- The four regular pieces weigh 9.7 and provide 15 poise together. This is light clothing with limited protection against being staggered, rather than a heavy armor setup.
- The hat, regular robe and bracers each raise thorn sorcery damage by 6%. Together they give about 19.1% more qualifying damage; the trousers add no spell bonus.
- The bonus covers Briars of Sin, Briars of Punishment, Impenetrable Thorns and Mantle of Thorns. It does not increase blood loss buildup or boost the Crucible thorn incantation.
- The altered hat keeps its bonus, but the altered robe loses it. Wearing both altered pieces reduces the outfit to 8.1 weight and 12 poise, with only the hat and bracers providing about 12.4% more thorn damage.
- There is no separate full-outfit effect. Mix the three useful pieces with other armor as needed, and remember that you still need the appropriate staff and spell requirements.
- All four regular pieces share one corpse pickup. Get them before Maliketh changes the capital; defeating Alberich at Roundtable Hold does not award this outfit.
