About this set

Gatekeeper Gostoc, early shop or later throne room

Limgrave

Starting Site of Grace: Stormveil Main Gate

Before you go

• 3,500 runes for the garb, manchettes and boots.

1. Defeat Margit and follow the entrance tunnel to Stormveil Main Gate grace. Gostoc is in the gatehouse room on the left of the closed main entrance.
2. Speak to him about entering the castle. Asking for the main gate to be opened does not force you to use it; the cliffside route remains available.
3. Return to Gostoc and open his shop once available. If you followed the side route and he is not selling yet, progress to the Rusty Key room in the outer wall and return before defeating Godrick.
4. Buy Bandit Garb for 1,500 runes, Bandit Manchettes for 1,000 and Bandit Boots for 1,000. The mask is not part of Gostoc's stock.
5. If you have already defeated Godrick and Gostoc is not selling, keep him alive and progress Nepheli's quest. Give her The Stormhawk King, rather than Seluvis's Potion, and defeat Morgott in Leyndell.
6. Return to Godrick's grace, finish Gostoc's dialogue and rest or reload the area. Once Nepheli has moved into the throne room beyond the arena, speak to Gostoc at the back to use his later shop.
7. If Gostoc is already dead, give his bell bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold. His remaining early equipment can be bought there; previously bought limited stock does not refill.

Northern Limgrave merchant

Limgrave

Starting Site of Grace: Saintsbridge

Before you go

• Have 1,500 runes for the purchasable piece.

1. From Saintsbridge in northern Limgrave, cross the stone bridge east. Find the merchant beside his campfire just beyond the bridge and buy Bandit Mask for 1,500 runes.

Bandit starting equipment

1. Choose Bandit when creating your character. You begin with this outfit, so no merchant or boss is needed.

Notes

• Bandit starts with all four pieces. Buying the same outfit as another class costs 5,000 runes across two merchants, rather than one complete-set purchase.
• Gostoc sells the garb for 1,500 runes and the manchettes and boots for 1,000 each. The merchant east of Saintsbridge sells Bandit Mask separately for 1,500.
• The four pieces weigh 16.8 and provide 29 poise in total. They are light armor with no passive damage, attribute or matching-set bonus.
• Their descriptions do not make the outfit equivalent to gear that actively silences footsteps. Crouching and positioning still matter when sneaking.
• Raptor's Black Feathers is a separate chest piece with a jump-attack bonus. Tailoring Bandit Garb does not create it.
• If Gostoc's shop is unavailable after Godrick, his later throne-room state offers another chance. A bearing from an already dead Gostoc preserves remaining early stock, but does not refill purchased pieces or unlock a future quest reward.
