Roundtable Hold

Starting Site of Grace: Table of Lost Grace

Before you go

• Have 1,500 runes.
• Have access to Roundtable Hold.

1. Accept Melina's invitation to Roundtable Hold when she offers it at a grace. Once visited, the Hold can be selected at the bottom left of the map.
2. In the room with the large central table, speak to Brother Corhyn, the man in yellow robes standing against the wall. Choose his incantation shop.
3. Buy Rejection for 1,500 runes. This is part of his starting stock; no prayerbook or Goldmask quest progress is needed.
4. If he has already left for Altus, follow the road north from Altus Highway Junction to the map monument. He stands beside the road near that monument until you move his quest forward.
5. After purchasing, rest at a grace and use Memorize spell. Equip a sacred seal and meet both its requirements and the spell's requirements before casting.

Notes

• Requires 12 Faith and one memory slot. Cast with a sacred seal for 9 FP.
• Produces a close shockwave that knocks back enemies vulnerable to that reaction. It deals no direct HP damage, but a fall caused by the shove can still kill.
• Charging expands its reach from about 2 meters to 4 meters and increases the pressure on an enemy's guard and stance. Both casts cost 9 FP; charging uses 31 stamina instead of 24.
• A guarded hit can drain stamina even though the spell causes no direct health damage. That can create an opening against an opponent relying on a shield.
• Larger enemies and bosses may resist the knockback. Do not rely on it as an escape from every attack just because ordinary soldiers are thrown away.
• More Incantation Scaling does not turn its zero-damage wave into a damaging spell. Godfrey Icon's damage bonus is also unhelpful here; charging is useful for the larger wave and its guard pressure.
• Costs 1,500 runes from Corhyn. If he dies before you buy it, giving Corhyn's Bell Bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks makes this starting-stock spell available there for the same price.
